Our modern tier 3 data centers use the latest technology to ensure high performance and availability. Everything is fully redundant, so your equipment is always online (even in the event of a power outage in the city). - Redundant power supplies
Our data centers have N+2 power supplies. This means that each rack has its own A+B Feed (power supply) and that these are also redundant. These A and B Feeds each have 3 phases which in turn run redundantly to two UPS systems. In short, this means that in the event of a power failure or failure of one of the UPS systems, power is still supplied. So this is a “double redundancy”. We have chosen this to be able to guarantee our high-quality service to our customers.
- Redundant fiber paths
HostSlim uses at least three geographically separated fiber paths. Our fiber paths run via different physical routes to our peering partners in Almere and Amsterdam.
- Redundant routing processes
The HostSlim network uses redundant routing engines. This means that if a router fails in one of our locations, the other location will automatically take over the routes. This provides extra redundancy for our customers.
- 24x7 support
As you know, something can always happen outside office hours. At HostSlim you can contact our 24x7 NOC directly in case of problems via telephone, ticket system or live chat. Our employees are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- 24x7 remote hands
If you need urgent help in one of our data centers, this is no problem. HostSlim engineers are trained in maintaining servers and network equipment. Our engineers are also available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in the event of calamities. Think, for example, of replacing physical hardware or establishing connections, or installing or debugging servers.
